Registration & Notice
When a child registers, please note that they are not registering for one lesson only but they are registered for the whole term. The registration enrolment form clearly states this and reminders will be emailed in the week to remind you of the Saturday session. Each student is enrolled as an individual, including siblings or family members.
If your child/children attend more than half of the lessons during the term, then your holding deposit of £5 will be refunded to you at the end of the term. If they do not attend the necessary number of sessions for that term, then we will not be refunding the holding deposit of £5. If your child has been ill or has a hospital appointment, then please email us and we will take this into consideration. Unfortunately, being unable to attend classes for parties or play dates does not apply.
Should a child wish to stop attending the live classes, it is essential that a week’s notice is given in writing (email or text) for each student.
Class Cancellations
Sci4Us reserves the right to cancel any class for any reasons we deem fit where absolutely necessary. Alternative ‘make up’ classes will be offered in exchange if possible and this will not go towards you not receiving your holding deposit of £5.
If a class does need to be cancelled, as much notice as possible will be given via various forms of communication (email, telephone, notices). Please note though, if the situation is unforeseeable and urgent, in rare cases the class may have to be cancelled last minute.
Photography and Recording of Zoom Footage
Sci4Us respects the privacy of all our students. All staff are DBS checked and operate with a strict child safeguarding policy.
Permission will be requested for any photographic/video exposure of the children. Parents are welcome to opt out. Zoom sessions will be recorded for record-keeping, quality assurance and training purposes. The recorded sessions will be stored in a safe and secure place. Parents will not be able to record the live sessions on your computer or device and capture other children on your recording.
Confidentiality
Everyone should keep each other’s personal information (such as name shown on Zoom) strictly confidential and not use it for their own private use.
Termination
We shall be entitled to terminate these Terms and Conditions and cease to provide you with any services with immediate effect in the event that you:
i. Act in an aggressive, bullying, offensive, threatening or harassing manner towards any employee of Sci4Us
ii. Steal or act in a fraudulent or deceitful manner towards us
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions along with the Liability Waiver, the Photo/Video Release Form and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreements and arrangements, whether written or oral. You confirm that you have not relied on any representations in entering into these and any other terms and conditions with us. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit liability for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
Sci4Us shall not be liable to you from any breach of its obligations or termination under these Terms and Conditions arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes and other Acts of God, terrorism, strikes, delays caused by transport disputes, failure to provide a class due to illness or immediate family issues.
