Zoom Into Science LIVE SESSIONS! OCTOBER EDITION (PART 1)

With October half term nearing by, Sci4Us will be happily hosting 4 ZOOM INTO SCIENCE LIVE SESSIONS on:

• Monday 26th October 2020
• Tuesday 27th October 2020
• Wednesday 28th October 2020
• Thursday 29th October 2020

For 1.5 hours, children will have the opportunity to get innovative, engage and take part in some LIVE SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS all from the comfort of their HOMES!

Times, Dates and Themes of the Sessions:

As October and November is the time of Black History Month, pumpkins and fireworks, we’ve decided to get into the spirit and split our sessions into different themes. The sessions will also be split according to ages, to make it easier for everyone to follow and enjoy!

Please ensure you read the below carefully and choose the appropriate session for your child to avoid any issues on the day.

• Monday 26th October 2020 will have a STEM-O-WEEN (Halloween) Theme and this is for children between the ages of 6 and 8
• Tuesday 27th October 2020 will have a STEM-O-WEEN (Halloween) Theme and this is for children between the ages of 9 and 11
• Wednesday 28th October 2020 will have a FIREWORKS Theme and this is for children between the ages of 6 and 8
• Thursday 29th October 2020 will have a FIREWORKS Theme and this is for children between the ages of 9 and 11

THESE SESSIONS WILL START AT 6PM AND END AT 7.30PM

How will it work?

We will be using the Zoom App! Please note, that it is not compulsory for you and your child to appear on video. Please only do so if you feel comfortable 🙂

Although the experiments will be age appropriate, please can you ensure that either yourself or someone older can be nearby as there may be times when children may need some help or direction.

Posting and Packaging Details:

As soon as your child has been confirmed, we will send a Sci4Us Equipment Box straight to your house with all the items needed for the experiments. However, if you would rather not disclose those details, please let us know when filling out the form and we will make alternative arrangements.

How much will this all cost?

Each Sci4Us Experiment Box will cost £7.99. However if you have 2 children, you can buy 2 boxes for just £12!

Please note, your 2 children don’t have to be attending the same session for you to get it at this price. As long as you have signed 2 children up for any of the sessions during the week, you will receive a discounted price at the checkout.

What does the price include?

• Your child receiving a range of experiments + a bonus experiment which will be delivered to them in a Sci4Us Experiment Box
• Engaging worksheets for the children to work through after the session, so they can apply what they have just learnt!
• 1.5 hours of us teaching the Science behind the different experiment whilst building the experiments together

Is there a closing date to sign up?

We will be closing the sign up for each session as soon as reach our maximum capacity! We like to keep our sessions small and intimate so children can really learn, so we have a maximum capacity of 5 children per session!
